Homecoming: Artists and Adaptation Opening Reception

July 14, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

The Brew House Association presents Homecoming: Artists and Adaptation from Friday, July 14 through Sunday, September 17, 2017. A free opening reception for the exhibition will be held at The Brew House on Friday, July 14 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Featuring the work of twelve alumni artists, all of whom once called the Brew House home, Homecoming: Artists and Adaptation explores the unique past of the Brew House Association, an organization formed from the adaptive ability of artists to transform a vacant place to vibrant space in which art can thrive.

Built in 1899, The Duquesne Brewery Brew House has been host to many tenants throughout the years, and after its recent renovation, it is once again positioned to serve generations of artists for years to come. Through a focus on adaption and reuse, exhibiting artists are invited to explore the transformation of the Brew House Association, and the changing world in which they live.

Featured Artists in Homecoming: Artists and Adaptation:
Bob Bingham, Chris Craychee, Tim Kaulen, Theo Keller, Rob Long, Aimee Manion, Bill Miller, Carin Mincemoyer, Keny Marshall, Wendy Osher, Renee Zettle-Sterling, Christiane Dolores
